Professor Axel Kornerup Hansen


Professor Axel Kornerup Hansen, Department of Veterinary Disease Biology, University of Copenhagen is one of the initiators and the programme manager of the LabVet Europe programme.

On the programme Axel will lecture the following modules:

Associate Professor Dorte Bratbo Sørensen

Associate Professor Dorte Bratbo Sørensen, Department of Veterinary Disease Biology, University of Copenhagen contributing to this programme with her knowledge about animal behaviour and animal welfare.

On the programme Dorte will lecture on module ii which concerns Ethics, Animal Welfare and the Three Rs.

Associate Professor Klas Abelsson

Associate Professor Klas Abelsson, Department of Experimental Medicine, University of Copenhagen contributes to the programme with his knowledge on pain and stress in an animal welfare context. Furthermore he is in charge of different teaching and training activities in laboratory animal science and experimentation.

On the programme Klas will lecture module iv on Anaesthesia, analgesia, and surgery.

Assistant Professor Camilla H.F. Hansen

Assistant Professor Camilla H.F. Hansen, Department of Veterinary Disease Biology, University of Copenhagen expert areas is animals models of inflammatory diseases and external factors contributing to variation in disease expression.

On the programme Camilla will lecture module v on the role of the DV in modelling human diseases in animals.
